Hi I'm James, I am the proud owner of Pure Holidays. It has been my dream and career aspiration to create my very own brand and travel company where I can help create the perfect holidays for our customers. This ambition is the inspiration behind the company’s mission to “set your holiday dreamer free”.
Having started my career at the age of 18 in the cruising world, I definitely caught the cruise bug straight way! Having been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to travel the world in the 4 years that I spent at sea with P&O Cruises, giving me personal firsthand experience that I can share with you on where to see, best locations for cabins plus many more.
During my time at sea, I was lucky enough to complete two world cruises (including full transit of the Panama Canal 3 times), visit over 65 different countries and destinations, with some of my favourites being South Africa, Istanbul & New Zealand.
There is no better way to travel than by working on a cruise ship, you can unpack once, get to experience a different location almost every day and all your accommodation & food is included.
I left P&O Cruises in 2015 after being hand-picked to launch thier flagship Britannia & joined Virgin Holidays/Virgin Atlantic which was a fantastic experience to be part of a brand such as Virgin and work with fantastic people leading the way in the retail, online and enhancing the customer experience.
These opportunities allowed me to be exposed and experience many other brands including Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, Oceania Cruises, Holland America, Seabourn, Carnival Cruise Line, Silversea & Disney Cruise Line to made but a few.
In addition to these opportunities, I am extremely proud to achieve my CLIA UK Ambassador status, awarded for those who actively improving thier skills, knowledge and understanding - it is also recognised and supported by the cruise industry.
With all this experience, knowledge and expertise gained over the last decade I look forward to Pure Holidays & myself guiding you to that perfect holiday enabling you to set your holiday dreamer free.
