P&O Cruises Name Latest Additional Arvia

P&O latest addition Arvia

P&O Cruises have announced the name of their newest additional to the fleet. Arvia is the second LNG-powered Excel class ship and is the sister of the P&O Crusies most recent additional, Iona. Joining the fleet in December 2022 all of her epic holidays can be booked online with us including exclusive savings.

The name Arvia - meaning from the seashore - has been designed to travel to the sun year-round and to maximise views of the ocean and the seashore from everywhere on board, so is a very fitting name and one which will reflect the experience for guests sailing on board her.

Building on the new and innovative features of her sister Iona, Arvia will celebrate this and have relaxation at sher heart. The rejuvenating and restorative qualities of a walk on the beach and invigorating sea air will be reflected in the experiences both on board and on shore as well as the vast space on board which will include a number of new and extraordinary features.

Arvia to Debut in the Caribbean

Enjoy the sound and sights of the Caribbean aboard Arvia in her debut season. P&O Cruises newest addition to the fleet, and sister to Iona, is set to be launched in December 2022 and will offer you a season of fly-cruise holidays from the home port of Barbados and Antigua (a first for P&O Cruises) from January to March 2023.

A series of 7 & 14 nights Caribbean holidays with include the ever popular overnight call in Barbados, a maiden call at La Romana in the Dominican Republic, plus a host of popular favourites including Curacao, Martinique, St Kitts, St Lucia and St Maarten. In addition Arvia will operate 22 night repositioning cruises departing from or returning to Southampton.
