Silver Origin to begin sailing in Summer 2020
Arriving summer 2020 the Silver Origin with become the most elegant ship ever to sail the Galapagos, she will also become the first ship specifically designed by Silversea to sail the Galapagos.
Silver Origin will take the experience of travelling in the Galapagos to new heights by offering a team of Ecuadorian national expert guides, the highest crew-to-guest ratio in the Galapagos, 8 Zodiacs, seamless hybrid spaces that offer an extraordinary voyage. In addition to this she will also she will offer All-suite accommodation, Horizon Balconies, butler service, sophisticated interiors, interactive basecamp and an Ecuadorian inspired cuisine. Not forgetting the impact on the enviroment she may have Silversea have ensure that Silver Origin will be the most environmentally conscious ship they have ever built.
Silver Origin will have an Italian whispered luxury combined with stunning expedition experience which will redefine luxury in the Galapagos. The interior design will be led by expert interior architects, Hirsch Bedner Associates, detailed destination awareness and state-of-the-art technology. They will reponsible for ensuring guests experience the more luxury holiday every, from getting ready in the basecamp for a day of Zodiac exploration to cosying up with friends around the fire pit in the Explorer Lounge at the end of the day. Silver Origin will entice those hungry guests with it's two restaurants offer delicious local, national and international dishes to make your mouth water.

Silversea release SALT cuisine programme for Silver Moon
Travel deeper with Silversea’s unique Sea And Land Taste programme (S.A.L.T.). Debuting on Silver Moon in August 2020, S.A.L.T. will offer guests the richest gastronomic experience by any cruise line. Curated with Adam Sachs, former editor in chief of Saveurmagazine, S.A.L.T. will focus on reflecting destinations through taste, sourcing authentic local ingredients prepared in true traditional styles. Guests can experience local market trips and special dinners in the S.A.L.T. restaurant to cooking demos with hosted by local guest chefs in the cooking lab.
