What facilities & features can I find onboard Carnival Splendor during my Vanuatu & New Caledonia Cruise departing 04 July 2027
It's hard to tell which onboard space best represents Carnival Splendor as they all seem to hint at the amazing time you are going to have. El Morocco Lounge hosts comedy shows, musical performances, karaoke and more... and wears its 1930s namesake clearly on its nameplate. The words "Royal Flush Casino" incite visions of winning, while the onboard jazz club simply says it all without saying a word. And Fahrenheit 555 can be found not only at the height of elegant dining, but at the actual apex of the ship
If you like your fun to flow, there are options aplenty. If you list "splishing" and "splashing" among your favourite things to do, head down to Carnival WaterWorks. Those into sitting and sliding are invited to try the all-new Green Lightning thrill-slide. How about floating or swimming around? Carnival Splendor has pools all over the place, including the midship pool featuring a retractable roof that makes any day a pool day. So whether you splish or splash, you will find hydro-excitement galore.
If relaxation is your thing, Serenity Adult-Only Retreat is more your place. Or if you are looking to take relaxation to the extreme, direct your attention to the Cloud 9 Spa, featuring more (and better) ways to kick back than just about anywhere else, on land or at sea. You haven't lived until you have relaxed in a Thalassotherapy pool, or chilled in a dry heat chamber.
Dining Venues on Carnival Splendor
Mongolian Wok
Chow down on some delicious Asian goodness. First, select your noodles and veggies. Then tell one of our chefs which sauce and meat you want in the wok. Will it be mussels and Szechuan? Beef and Thai barbecue? Chicken and black bean? Don't worry, the decision doesn't have to be final - you can come back to Mongolian Wok and try all the combos your heart desires!
Guy's Burger Joint
Carnival went looking for someone to help them grill up the best burgers at sea, and found just the guy. Teaming up with best-selling author, restaurateur and Food Network personality Guy Fieri to bring all the authentic appeal of a roadside burger shack to Guy's Burger Joint, the cool poolside spot for hot burgers and hand-cut fries. Try a fresh-off-the-grill burger Guyapos;s way, or take it off-road to the toppings bar and truly make it your own.
The Steakhouse
Turn your special vacation in the direction of delicious by booking a table for an unforgettably delectable evening at the onboard Steakhouse. With menus featuring mouth watering premium cuts of beef cooked to your exact specifications, as well as a fantastic selection of seafood, entrres, gourmet appetizers - even a wine list that got the nod from Wine Spectator. (They actually call it the Award of Excellence.)
The Steakhouse's atmosphere pairs remarkably well with, and perhaps even enhances, the culinary creations of our gourmet chefs.
Tip: Like any destination restaurant, reservations are highly recommended, and can be made online after booking your cruise. Your meal is at an additional charge and includes an appetizer, salad, entree, side, and dessert.
Entertainment Facilities on Carnival Splendor
The Waterworks
Wanna splish, splash the whole day away? Head on over to WaterWorks, Carnival Splendor's onboard waterpark. First up, there is the Twister Waterslide, hundreds of feet of spiralling awesomeness that starts you off high in the air and gets you down low with one of the fastest, wettest rides you will find anywhere.
Select ships have side-by-side racing slides, which make serious competition seriously fun. Wear your speed suit for Speedway Splash, which features hundreds of feet of racing action, plus special lighting effects you will experience on the road to victory. DrainPipe ends with one major swirl of a finish, while PowerDrencher takes soaking seriously, just picture the biggest bucket of water you have ever seen, raining down on you from above. This isn't just for kids, the young at heart are encouraged to zoom and splash around too!
The RedFrog Pub
Get into an island state of mind before you even set foot on one. RedFrog Pub is Carnival Legend's laid-back, no-worries, oh-so-lively Key West-inspired pub. Sample Caribbean fare, dominate at the foosball table, enjoy some sweet tunes from live musicians and sip Carnival's tasty signature private-label brew, ThirstyFrog Red. So kick back and feel the island vibe come to life. You will be a local here before you know it.
The Alchemy Bar
No magic spells are required to enjoy a cocktail creation at Alchemy Bar, Carnival Legend's unique vintage-themed cocktail "pharmacy" - you just need a willingness to be surprised, to try something new. Having flipped through dusty old texts to uncover enticing combinations: select spirits, fresh juices, infused syrups, spices and other tantalizing secrets performed before your very eyes by the true mix-masters: the bartenders. Choose a remedy from the menu, or let us prescribe you a custom elixir just for you, with or without alcohol.
Playlist Productions
Everyone has those perfect songs that never fail to get them moving. Playlist Productions, Carnivals' onboard theatre team brings lists like yours to life! Your favourites become full-blown musical productions featuring singers and dancers bringing down the house. Shows vary by ship, but there is a playlist for every music lover. Need a few examples? How about the spicy sounds of Amor Cubano, the movie-magic soundtrack of FLICK, or Vintage Pop with its 20s-jazz-meets-modern-hits?
Release your inner rock-n-roll patriot during America Rocks! Enter the centre of groove with the passionate Heart of Soul. Feel the arena-shaking sounds of Epic Rock, the piano-pounding sounds of 88 Keys, the totally bad-meaning-good 80s Pop to the Max, plus the funky, sophisticated and not-at-all exclusive Studio VIP, where everyone is welcome to come and get down!
Camp Ocean
The little ones can enjoy the best parts of summer camp, year-round aboard their Carnival cruise. At Camp Ocean kids will have a blast in supervised, age-based groups and give each a cool marine-life label: Penguins (2 to 5 years), Stingrays (6 to 8 years) and Sharks (9 to 11 years). Together with their group they will enjoy tons of fun-filled, age-appropriate activities like arts and crafts, songs, games, toys, dancing, movies and video games. When comes to mealtime, kids eat together and get their own menus with back-on-land favs like mac & cheese, chicken nuggets and more. The whole time, Carnival's experienced counsellors will be there to make sure everyone in these small groups has an amazing time. Plus, when the sun goes down it's time for Night Owls (fees apply to use this service), but kids get to stay up late having fun while their parents also enjoy themselves well into the night.
