Aurora & Borealis Restaurants

At the heart of the dining experience on board Borealis are Aurora & Borealis, the ship's elegant and spacious two-tiered main restaurants.

At these venues, delicious 5 course, a la carte menus of dishes expertly created, prepared and cooked by our team of chefs are served every evening, whilst dedicated, attentive waiters take care of you. Menus are updated daily and include everything from steaks and seafood to freshly made soups, pasta and salads. Plus, there are beautiful homemade breads, made overnight in Borealis's on board bakery, to enjoy too.

You could opt for flexible dining during your time on Borealis, which allows you the freedom to dine at these venues at any time in the evening, or choose to dine at the same time allocated to you for each evening on your cruise.

The Indian Ocean Restaurant

For a more intimate dining experience, guests can book a table at Borealis's Indian Ocean Room and enjoy the same 5 coursea la carte menu of delicious dishes served in the main two tiered restaurants, but in a smaller, Indian Ocean themed venue.

This welcoming and cosy, yet spacious and comfortable venue is a wonderful place in which to indulge with sumptuous dinners, as well as tasty breakfasts and lunches, whilst enjoying ocean views through the large picture windows and the company of loved ones, friends or perhaps a few fellow guests

Colours & Tastes

Colours and Tastes restaurant offers modern Asian Fusion dishes which are a real talking point on board Borealis. Book a table and experience a real flavour of Asia in the colourful yet intimate restaurant, where the mood is cheerful, and the food offers a stimulating set of new taste experiences

Borealis's talented chefs offer classic dishes and unique delicacies from Japanese, Thai, Chinese and Fillipino cuisines, including spiced grilled meats, seafood, dim sum and sushi.

Delicious food, prepared with the finest ingredients, and knowledgeable waiting team, all help to create wonderful memories that will leave you surprised, delighted and coming back again!

Borealis Restaurants is available for dinner in the evenings and are bookable from 13 weeks and up to 5 days before departure via your My Cruises account and have a pre-payable charge of £10pp. For guests looking to book once on board, this can be with any of our Seating Hostesses or at Guest Services and will be charged at £15pp to your on board account.

The Observatory

The tranquil atmosphere and elegance of The Observatory makes it the perfect venue for pre dinner cocktails and evening drinks, accompanied by the resident Pianist. With panoramic windows, this is also the perfect spot for scenic cruising when the weather is not being kind.

This stylish venue is also where the premium Traditional Afternoon Tea service, which offers a selection of delicious sandwiches, cakes, pastries and scones to be enjoyed with top quality teas and unforgettable scenic views.

The Morning Light Pub

Named after a four masted ship which the Olsen family bought back in 1892, this space has been designed to make you feel comfortable and relaxed while you enjoy your cruise. You will find live music and an extensive range of drinks and cocktails.

The Ocean Bar

The inviting, spacious and sociable Ocean Bar is situated close to the Neptune Balcony on Lounge Deck 5, and so is the perfect place in which to enjoy a drink or two before taking in the evening show.

It is a great post show venue too; the Ocean Bar really comes to life in late evening when the resident band or DJ provides the music, and invites you to the floor to dance into night.

The Piano Bar

During a cruise, and especially during time at sea, there are not many better ways to relax and enjoy your time on board than to simply sit back and listen to the restful sounds of music played by a talented pianist.

At the Piano Bar, you can do exactly that. Perhaps take a seat before dinner and settle into your evening with a cocktail, or visit this stylish, spacious venue after the evening show to wind down.

The Neptune Lounge & Balcony

When the lights go down at the Neptune Lounge and you settle in for the evening at Borealis' elegant, two tiered entertainment venue, you are in for an entertainment extravaganza of live shows ranging from music and cabaret to quick fire comedy and much more.

There is plenty of comfortable seating in this spacious venue, with unspolit views of the grand stage to be enjoyed from every vantage point, including the upper tier Neptune Balcony with a glass of your favourite tipple in hand. The lounge is also used for daytime lectures and events, as well as Captain's Welcome and Farewell parties.

Pools & Jacuzzi's

Whether you are needing to cool down after a few hours of sunbathing, or like to keep fit by swimming a few lengths, Borealis's all weather pool is perfect for taking a dip . No matter where you are in the world, or docked in a destination or sailing across the ocean.

Surrounded by open deck space and plenty of loungers, by the pool is the ideal spot for soaking up the sunshine, and The Poolside Cafe is always close by so you don't have to move too far to find a bite to eat or something to drink. For blissful relaxation, head for the Jacuzzi and let the warm, bubbling water soak any cares away.

Atlantis Spa

Relax and indulge yourself in the Atlantis Spa on board Borealis, and let their expert team pamper you. With a wide range of luxurious treatments on offer, including massages, manicures, pedicures, relaxation treatments and hairdressing; you will leave feeling energised and revitalised.
